Seeing the creativity most people employ, that is for selfish loopholes and inconsiderate behaviour, I am a little wary of empowering them.

Most creative work is benevolent or at least harmless. Certainly some people are malevolent, maybe even everybody some of the time, but you shouldn't believe that to represent the majority of creativity. That's way too misanthropic.
