AAA – Analytical Anti-Aliasing

If you fade out the edge pixels like that, won't that create a 1px gap between adjacent squares? What do you do about that?

I think this is the same method Skia uses, and it doesn't work for rendering vectors from SWF files in my experience because of this problem.
