In many other countries other than the USA the gap between left and right in regards to climate change is much smaller and majority on the right are at least concerned about it and it is definitely NOT part of their identity. How does pointing out this misconception is "burying my head in sand" as your reply implies? At no point I imply that climate change shouldn't be carefully studied and mitigated.

This forums' USA centrism (although unsurprising) is really starting to get on my nerves.
