I bought myself a Baofeng & a Quansheng radio just recently & love to hear aviation conversations & such .. sadly I wasnt't able to hear anyone else yet .. on PMR nor Freenet

If you want to hear amateur radio conversations, check for regularly scheduled 'nets' in your area. Search for "$yourcity amateur radio club" and they'll probably have some details.
