Telling that TikTok, a Chinese company (ooh the enemy!), happens to be better at following local laws than American companies?

What you're seeing is companies based in the US flagrantly ignoring requests from the government to start following the law, and subsequently be banned for ignoring them. As has happened in many other countries before that.
