Not every site needs JavaScript but many of the ARIA APG patterns absolutely require it to be implemented properly.

So yeah you don't need JavaScript in the sense that you never needed it if your site isn't doing things that require it..

I do care about accessibility, so seeing comments implying I'm doing something wrong without telling me what's wrong just kind of sucks.
