Unless you fall into the bottomless rabbit hole that is Shorts. That's waaaaay more addictive than your regular long form YT content.

Fun fact: disabling watch history also disables Shorts.

I have YouTube watch history disabled and when I search for something I usually get a few "lines" of search results filled with "Shorts".

Yeah but the endless customized one-more-time mechanism won't work anymore, which is the addictive part.
