Stack Overflow is like online gaming -- lots of toxic people, but I still get value out of it.

Ask a question.

Ignore the trolls.

Get a question answered that would have taken you another day to solve.

Make money.

Back in the day, some of the most toxic people were community moderators.

I barely use it anymore. GitHub issues are far more useful these days but lacks a place to ask generic questions.

GitHub could strike a knockout blow here if they wanted to.

Can't do that if they delete the post before it gets answered
