Any Australian buyers should be able to get an instant refund under consumer law (goods not as advertised). For those who don't want a refund and have the time and energy, fun could be had with the consumer law around "Unfair contract terms" [1].

I was curious what sort of remedies that legislation might offer to an individual who wanted to pursue. Page 22 of the linked document summarises that and they are, at least at face value, satisfyingly real.

Having said that I'm not sure how this would work if an Australian bought the camera online from a business based outside of Australia, I'm guessing the answer is "not at all".
