Having said that: I severely hate content in this form, where you have to scroll like your life depends on it just to read a paragraph or two.

You're on a PC aren't you? I say this not as a "ew PC" (I am too), but truly to ask with some underlying suspicion. I am on a PC too, and these sites are dually either fine or awful depending on whether I'm using a mac or not.
