Aw I feel like it’s perfectly harmless in this instance, right? You don’t need to talk to the people, so there’s no risk of insulting them.

Agreed, but you risk normalizing it for yourself, and the partner playing it with you.

I don't think it's particularly harmful for someone to play it, but I would rather set the bar higher for myself.
