The Google ex-CEO Schmidt is developing AI drones for Ukraine in Estonia. One would expect that when he needs a source of good foundational AI Google may be among his suppliers of choice. Naturally the Ukraine is just a start. The addressable market is going to be huge, especially for the battle proven stuff. And especially for the one proven against Russian and, by-proxy, Chinese tech.
There is also tremendous interest, though only a few of them have been fielded on the actual battlefield so far, to the remotely controlled and autonomous ground platforms, and Google is the leader in the civilian ones, and it looks to me there is a relatively easy path to transferring the tech into the military systems.
