Ignoring all the points made, this was a very pleasant reading experience.

Not ignoring the points made, I cannot put my finger on where LLMs land in 2025. I do not think any sort of AGI type of phenomenon will happen.

Yes, it was a good read. As someone with no direct connection to Linux or open-source development, I was surprised to find myself reading to the end. And near the end I found this comment particularly wise:
