Rhododendron looks pretty but is an absolute plague in Ireland. It grows so big and vast that people sometimes get lost in them.

I’ve seen similar purple hills in Scotland and only later realized they were covered in an invasive species. It’s remarkable how widespread it is there. Japanese knotweed is another ornamental plant that's now everywhere, practically the Terminator of plants when it comes to being unkillable.
