I’ve been doing something similar for about a year by uploading files to Backblaze/B2, mounting it as a virtual drive with Mountain Duck (macOS), and having a single HTML file to browse and play videos. I have a server running Jellyfin on the same files but one day wanted split screen, tried this as a hack, and it just… works? There are multi-gig files, numbering in the hundreds, and all I did was append a video tag for each one to scroll through, play, and style the whole viewer with some really basic CSS. Why isn’t t this more common?
