I wasn't quite sure if this qualified as "Show HN" given you can't really download it and try it out. However, dang said[0]:

Just so you know the 518 is back in production as of a couple years ago with an updated sensor. It is by far the best mouse ever made, still to this day.

They started making it again a few years back. Then discontinued... But you still might be able to find one :)
