No, because Dropbox actually follows the API guidelines.

I'm afraid I don't know, never used that app.

It also uses the scoped storage APIs, it's under no threat.

And +1 dropsync/autosync is phenomenal, it's one of the few "basically perfect" apps in my list. Set it and forget it for years and zero issues ever.
