There are so many games that I want to play that are PC only. I really wish people could make multi-platform games.

Make the jump buddy.

I got a gaming laptop back in 2022 for $550. Literally endless free games, and for $20 a year, you can get 4 old GOTY games from steam during a sale.

Not to mention endless mods.

PC gaming is infinite entertainment.

But, then I’d have to use Windows. I’m not that desperate to play these games.

I don't use Windows. I hate Microsoft. I use Linux (Fedora). I even have a video card working.

Really depends on the game. Aside from my multiplayer shooters, I played all my games on Linux. And these shooters would work too, if not for the pesky anti-cheats. If you'd like, you can check if the Steam game would work on Linux with this tool: https://www.protondb.com/app/1174180

I'm personally using Debian testing with KDE, but as long as Steam works, you should be fine. Zorin is also a nice out of the box experience.
