Really hard to have a normal discussion about this.

It's about not seeing captchas on iOS devices. There is a lot of thought that went into the privacy of this solution, just read up on it.

Yet, everyone in the comments I have read so far discuss how bad it would be if a system would personally identify them while denying access to the web for users refusing to be personnally identified.

It's about *captchas* not denying access, and there is no personal identification. Sure you can say "I think it's dangerous and the tech could evolve in the future into something dystopian", but don't immediately start discussing this dystopian solution as if it was the actual proposal, that is simply disingenuous and confusing.
