I have modded a subset of a niche hobby forum mostly populated by mild mannered middle aged men and small enough that most people have met a decent subset of the others and even there it's well known that doing your time as the enforcer will tank your like to dislike ratio.
It really speaks to this community's desire to have an enforcer to praise that dang is so worshiped here. I can respect the restraint it takes for dang to, having been given such a blank check by the community, not run amuck with it.
