Why does dang do what he does?

He's so close to ycombinator, inside of it in fact, but I assume he isn't getting mega rich like everyone else associated with the outfit. Am I wrong?

What makes you think everyone is mega rich there? VC firms have a lot of employees making normal salaries just like every other company.
