It doesn't make much sense for the Macbook Pro to have a lower score than the Macbook Air.

I noticed that too. But it’s one score for the Pro versus four for the Air.

Assuming it is sampling error?

It's also possible that the fan comes into play more with a sustained load. I believe their clocks are the same, but I'm sure the Air has to start throttling at a certain point once it gets hot.

Isnt the chip the exact sane in these devices? The air scores are probably going to tank massively when thenal throttling kicks in. There should be a decent performance gap between these machines then
