Seems like majority of HN hates crypto which is disappointing. Luckily there are a ton of great subreddits, slack, telegram, and discord channels out there.

Then each crypto usually has it's own subreddit. I like the r/WaltonChain one a lot, some are better than others.
Each coin usually has a discord or telegram, they're hit and miss, but you can meet some cool people through these places. I have a group of about 20-30 people I met through a slack back in July and we're all friends now just talking about different coins, etc. so I'm sure there are a bunch of smaller groups like that which exist too.
