We started our business journey in 2022, running our own eCommerce stores. Early on, we realized something simple but powerful — it’s way easier to sell again to people who already trusted you than to chase new customers through ads.

But acquisition kept getting more expensive, and our retention marketing just didn’t deliver. Even with discounts and email flows, ROI was weak — and tools like Klaviyo weren’t cheap.

So we went manual. We analyzed each customer’s purchase history, behavior, and preferences, then wrote personal messages with relevant products and offers. Those manual campaigns converted at ~40%. But it wasn’t scalable.

That’s why we built *Evolvoom.io* — an AI-powered email marketing employee. It connects to your Shopify store (we’re official Shopify Partners), syncs customer data, writes personalized campaigns on the fly, and sends them automatically. It even replies when customers respond.

The technology is powered by *OpenAI*, and we’re also a *registered TCR Campaign Service Provider (CSP)* — meaning we don’t rely on third-party SMS gateways. This lets us stay competitive on costs and maintain higher margins than typical outbound marketing SaaS providers.

We’ve already built the full platform, ran multiple small beta launches, and are now preparing for our public rollout focused on paid users and brand awareness.

From a market standpoint, we’re operating in the *B2C e-commerce space*, valued at around *$5.47T in 2023* and projected to reach between *$17.7T (by 2030)* and *$37.7T (by 2034)*, growing roughly *~19% annually* (Grand View Research, Precedence Research). The *dropshipping segment* alone is expected to surpass *$1.2–2.0T by 2033 (CAGR ~22–23%)*. With rising acquisition costs (+222% since 2016) and an average retention rate of just 31%, the gap in customer loyalty is only widening.

We built Evolvoom for that gap — a system designed by ex-store owners who were tired of wasting time and money on tools that didn’t scale personalization.

In short: *Evolvoom is retention on autopilot* — it writes, sends, and replies so you can focus on growth instead of manually managing marketing.

We’re sharing this here because this community understands what it means to build fast, test hard, and learn quickly. Would love to hear thoughts from other founders on: - Building SaaS in saturated markets but with new positioning (retention vs. acquisition) - The tradeoffs of AI automation vs. authenticity - Managing go-to-market strategy while keeping margins healthy as an early-stage startup

Here’s a short 60-second demo we filmed for our beta-testers that explains how Evolvoom works:
