I have plenty of misgivings about why X is a bad place. And I believe strongly & fiercely in them and can point to changes showing what's gotten worse.

But man, it's just such a huge risk being in a network where you have to trust the moderation trust & safety team as the sole defenders of the network health.

Open Society requires a further level of openness than trusting the owners. And Ex's self-mantle of Ex is fitting and true above all other reasons because X has gone to war with the researchers & academics. Its decided that it wants to be the only one who has any hand at portraying & showing what happens on the network. Apparently the network now more closely matches the US demographic layout. It was possibly too heavy on professionals that will now have more time to post on LinkedIn.
