Proof? You've repeated this several times but never substantiated it. I don't feel this way at all and I suspect most average customers wouldn't either.
It makes 100x more sense to me to show people the problems with their hearing even if it upsets them. You should be upset over damaged hearing - hiding it from you is not going to improve your quality of life unless the test itself is broken.
