Please state the job location and include the keywords REMOTE, INTERNS and/or VISA when the corresponding sort of candidate is welcome. When remote work is not an option, include ONSITE.

Please only post if you personally are part of the hiring company—no recruiting firms or job boards. Only one post per month, please. If it isn't a household name, explain what your company does.

Commenters: please don't reply to job posts to complain about something. It's off topic here.

Readers: please only email submitters if you personally are interested in the job—no recruiters or sales calls.

This is retained search. We work directly with the company as an extension for their hiring processes.

That doesn't matter. The point is that you're not listing the name of the actual company and you are not an employee of the company. You are a recruiter. Every recruiter would like to say "we work directly with the company as an extension for their hiring processes" - what would be the point of the rule then?

The spirit of HN hiring threads is not to be yet another portal where recruiters can show their wares. It's designed to be community-oriented and transparent. Ideally a hiring manager or an employee directly on the team who a candidate would be working with is the one posting the job. Second to that, an internal recruiter who works directly in the talent or HR team of the hiring company. I'm sure you're plenty well integrated with the hiring process at "Machine learning hedge fund", but you're still an external recruiter who is not formally employed by the company on a permanent basis.

You shouldn't be posting here. We can't even tell the name of the company from your job ad. It's convenient for you but it's not convenient for the rest of the community.

Sorry, but that's against the rules as explained at the top. The HN community feels really strongly about this.
